Carrog Station Campsite is a family-run site set in the picturesque Dee Valley, offering a peaceful and scenic escape for visitors. The site welcomes touring caravans, tents and motorhomes, with the added option of comfortable camping pods for those looking for a more relaxed experience. Situated beside the Carrog Railway and the beautiful River Dee, the campsite provides a charming and tranquil setting for outdoor enthusiasts. It is conveniently located just seven miles from the popular tourist town of Llangollen and 14 miles from Bala, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area.

The campsite caters specifically to families and couples, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. We also offer facilities for rallies and Duke of Edinburgh groups, making it a suitable choice for organised events and outdoor adventures. The maximum group size allowed is two units (equivalent to two households). Please be aware that any groups exceeding this limit will not be permitted to stay on-site unless prior arrangements have been made.

Facilities at Carrog Station Campsite include 40 electric hook-up pitches, with a mix of hardstanding and grass options to suit different preferences. Guests have access to unisex showers and toilet blocks, as well as hot and cold water facilities. There are dedicated washing-up areas for convenience, along with a recycling centre to encourage eco-friendly practices. For waste disposal, the site is equipped with an Elsan/chemical disposal point and a drive-over grid for grey wastewater, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.
