Middlehills Farm Campsite is a family friendly site situated at Grangemill and only a short drive from the Derbyshire market town of Bakewell. It is well placed for you to visit many nearby attractions and we have provided lots of leaflets in reception so you have an idea of places to visit during your stay.

We have full on site facilities including toilets and shower blocks, which are charged at £1 for 5 minutes or 20p for 1 minute, pot washing areas, drinking water and an extensive play area for children which is a big hit, which you can camp right next to if you are non electric. In total, we have 9 electric pitches. Please note that children are your responsibility at all times. We also have 2 chemical waste points.

Glamping accommodation is available in our 2 glamping pods which both sleep 4 people – please enquire for details.

The shop sells local produce from the butchers in Bakewell, the cheese is from Hartington and fresh milk and bread from the diary, we also sell farm eggs, plus snacks camping equipment, plus briquettes and starter packs. There is a hot drinks machine which serves fresh ground coffee, and a pizza van serving every Friday and Saturday night.

We also encourage the use of recycling and hope that the bins are used. Firepits can be hired from the reception on a first come first served basis. We also provide briquettes and starter packs at our shop or you can bring your own. We do not allow young groups, but we do welcome family groups and have a strict curfew on noise after 10.30pm. We allow open fires if they are in fire pits and raised off the ground. We have a limited number to hire. We have some pigs on site which love to be stroked and fed, as well as some ponies who love attention! We now have Wi-Fi available in certain areas on site.

Our campsite is 6 miles from the historic market town of Bakewell, where there is a market every Monday. Dovedale, Tissington Trails, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are all within a 15 minute drive. As well as walks with stunning views.

Rates: £12 adult, children £6. 2 glamping pods, both sleeping 4, £80 per night, min 2-3 night stays.
