The Old Manse Guest House provides adult-only accommodation in the spa town of Buxton. Located just a short walk from the market square and Buxton Opera House, it’s an ideal retreat for a peaceful and relaxing escape in Derbyshire.

Our guest house blends old-world charm with modern facilities. This adult-only guest house has lots of Victorian features and lots of modern comforts.

We have 6 en suite bedrooms to choose from, with a choice of super-king or standard double beds. Each of the bedrooms come with luxury cotton rich bed sheets and white towels.

All our rooms come with a variety of facilities, including free Fibre-optic broadband, flat-screen TV, a tub chair, a desk and chair and a hospitality tray for tea and coffee. All our super-king rooms also have a coffee table, two tub chairs and a sofa. The standard rooms all include Cole & Lewis toiletries and our deluxe rooms have 100 Acres botanical garden toiletries.

In the morning, we offer a freshly prepared fully cooked or continental breakfast, including locally sourced produce where possible. Home-made compote, cereals (with vegan and gluten-free options), yoghurts, freshly prepared fruit salad and a choice of fruit juice are all provided.

We are ideally placed for exploring Buxton, home to shops, cafes, pubs and attractions. In the market square, there are lots of restaurants, including British cuisine, Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean, French, and Japanese options. Visit Pavilion Gardens, a Victorian pleasure garden with 23 acres to wander around in. Attractions to visit include:
