New House Organic Farm Camping in Kniveton offers a lovely back-to-basics camping experience and off-grid eco yurts. Located near Ashbourne in gorgeous Derbyshire countryside, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our campsite offers views of the Peaks District in a peaceful position on our working farm. There are no fixed pitches, with a range of fields available. There is no electric hook up and no hot water for showers for campers. We do have mains drink water taps available.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement but must be on a lead. We allow campfires and onsite there is catering is available, including a pizza and grill, drinks and snacks. You can buy some produce from our farm shop or enjoy a stroll along one of the picturesque farm walks.

We have 2 delightful eco-yurts to choose from, with each equipped with beds, furniture, log burners, a kitchen and stove, cookware, drinking water sink, solar lighting and an outdoor standing BBQ. There is also a compost loo and shower. Outside there is a large circle fire pit to huddle around in the evening. Hot tubs are available for an additional fee.

Whilst staying with us you can enjoy lots of wonderful walking and cycling routes. Visit the Rosliston Forestry Centre of visit Harboro Rocks. You can stroll along Henmore River of play a round at Trent Lock Golf & Country Club. Attractions to visit include:

Rates: From £10 per night per adult, £5 per night children 3-17 years and under 3s are free. No charge for dogs. 16 -17-year-olds without parents, a charge of £8 per person per night.
