Accommodation at the Dog and Partridge is purpose-built and situated in the grounds. Most rooms have en suite facilities and all rooms have flat-screen TV with Freeview as well as DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities, clock radio, direct telephone, ample heating and hot water.

Guests will find it easy to relax in the traditional bar with its olde worlde character and charm and its welcoming log fire in winter. Food is served all day, as requested. From local trout to steaks and grills, we have something for everyone.

The hot tub is available to hire for 60 mins at a time for up to 4 or 6 people and includes a towel for each person and use of the private garden.

The surrounding countryside is truly a walker’s paradise. High open moorland gives way to peaceful, picturesque dales with gently flowing rivers and breathtaking sweeps of limestone cliff. With many notable attractions such as Alton Towers, Matlock Bath, Chatworrth House, Carsington Water, Haddon Hall and the lovely market town of Ashbourne only a short drive away, landmarks like Dovedale, Beresford Dale and the fantastic Derbshire Villages Ilam, Hartington and Tissington - famous for the well dressings - are also within easy reach.
