Barn Cottage offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Bakewell. Our character cottage in Derbyshire is only a 5-minute stroll from the town centre.

Our ground-floor cottage sleeps up to 2 people and offers lovely features, including vaulted ceilings with oak timber beams. The barn conversion offers modern facilities and is perfect for a couple.

Inside we have a lounge area with a settee, an easy chair, a gas log effect free-standing stove and a satellite flat-screen TV with an integral radio. The dining and galley kitchen comes equipped with a range of appliances: an electric oven and hob, microwave oven and built-in fridge with a small freezer compartment.

We have a bedroom with a spacious double bed and memory foam mattress. The modern bathroom has an extra-large walk-in shower.

Outside we have a south-facing patio with a table and chairs for al fresco dining.

We are close to the centre of Bakewell, home to shops, restaurants and public houses. Every Monday there is a street market. Enjoy walking along the River Wye or visit Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall. Attractions to visit include:
