The Old Stores sits beside the River Wye in the heart of the Peak District, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and offering the chance to enjoy nature at its finest throughout the year. From the doorstep you can set out on a walk or visit nearby historic towns such as Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton and Eyam. Millers Dale has its own country pub serving good food and cask ale and it is just two miles from Tideswell.

The Old Stores sleeps four, this bungalow has been converted with great character from the village shop and tea-room of the Victorian era. It is wooden cabin style and panelled throughout with antique pine. The dining room has double glazed patio doors opening on to the lawn with garden furniture and your own private access to Monks Dale, here a stream runs by the side of the garden though it tends to dry up in mid to late summer. The lounge has comfy sofas, an open fire for winter evenings and a smart TV. Wi-fi is included.There are views across to the River Wye and the old water wheel. The kitchen with its back door opening to the drying area has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine etc. There are two bedrooms, one a king size bedroom and one with twin beds. Linen & towels are included. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. There is private, off road parking. The property is close to the road so you may experience some road noise at times. The Old Stores may be suitable for the less able.

The Old Stores has central heating throughout - there is no charge for electricity or gas.
