The Cottage Hotel
Details
The Cottage Hotel sits proudly on the cliffs above Harbour Beach in Hope Cove, offering a front-row seat to the dramatic beauty of the South Devon coastline. Most of the rooms enjoy spectacular sea views and guests dining in the lounges or restaurant are regularly treated to breathtaking sunsets over the water.
Guests can stay in comfortable hotel rooms that look out over the picturesque landscape, just a short walk from the charming village of Inner Hope and the surrounding countryside. Each bedroom in the hotel is individually styled, with no two rooms exactly the same in shape or size. All rooms include private ensuite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, a remote control LCD television with radio, beverage-making facilities and free wireless internet. Some rooms are spacious enough to accommodate extra beds and guests are encouraged to enquire for more information if needed.
Mornings at The Cottage Hotel begin with a cold buffet featuring a variety of options, including seasonal melon, stewed fruits, yoghurts, cereals, freshly brewed coffee, a selection of teas, toast, preserves and juices. Afterward, guests can enjoy a range of choices from the hot buffet, such as back bacon, eggs prepared to order, sausages, grilled tomatoes and more.
Dinner is served every evening from 7 pm, with a daily-changing Table d'Hôte menu offering a variety of dishes designed to provide excellent value and quality on the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast tariff. From February through December, the hotel also serves traditional Sunday lunches, widely regarded as among the best in Devon, in a delightful setting overlooking Hope Cove.
The terrace at The Cottage Hotel is a perfect spot to relax with a drink, lunch, or afternoon tea while taking in the breathtaking views and captivating sunsets. On a summer evening, the view over Hope Cove is simply unmatched and diners can enjoy their meals while gazing out at one of the UK’s most beautiful seaside locations.
Whether you're joining us for breakfast and watching the sunrise light the beach from behind the hotel, or enjoying lunch or an afternoon tea in the sun-drenched terrace with views of golden sands, each moment is accompanied by the natural beauty of the coast. Dinner brings the opportunity to witness the extraordinary sunsets that light up the evening sky, weather permitting, of course.
