Furzeleigh Mill is a charming country hotel situated in Buckfastleigh, situated within Dartmoor National Park. Originally established in 1547 as a spring-fed Corn Mill, it has operated as a hotel for the past century. Furzeleigh Mill enjoys a prime location, offering easy access to a wealth of activities and attractions right at our doorstep in Dartmoor.

Our Grade II Listed property has 10 beautiful en suite bedrooms to choose, with all boasting amazing countryside views. You can choose from singles, doubles and family rooms. All the rooms come with en suite facilities, a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and beverage tray.

We can set you up for the day ahead with our breakfast which is cooked to order using locally sourced produce. You can choose from continental or traditional breakfasts, as well as creamy scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or natural smoked haddock with poached eggs. Cereals, cereals, yoghurts, toasts and homemade marmalade and a selection of teas/freshly brewed coffee are provided.

Our fine dining restaurant also serves exquisite food for lunch and dinner, using local produce where possible. Coffee and homemade desserts are available throughout the day and cream teas are served in the afternoon. You can also enjoy a drink or two at our fully licensed well-stocked bar. The bar includes over 100 different gins, plus rums, vodkas, spirits and wines.

We can accommodate weddings at our hotel, offering a maximum of 45 guests for the wedding and wedding breakfast. We can safely accommodate a total of 75 guests for the evening reception. The newly refurbished bar is great for sipping cocktails and some pre-ceremony drinks.
