Choose from our Shepherd’s Hut, Drovers Hut or cosy Yurt, all set beside a picturesque babbling brook. Surrounded by lush, rolling Devon countryside, Westland Farm is the perfect escape for nature lovers and outdoor adventurers alike.

The Crinkly Cabin: The Crinkly Cabin is a unique retreat created from repurposed shipping containers and set in a private three-acre field at the bottom of the farm. Sleeping up to six guests, it is well suited to couples, families and small groups seeking a peaceful rural escape. The cabin includes a well-equipped kitchen with an off-grid fridge, two-burner gas hob, hot and cold water and a welcome selection of tea, coffee, sugar and sweet treats on arrival. An open-plan living area features double doors opening directly onto the surrounding field, leading to a decked area that is perfect for enjoying a morning cup of tea in the sunshine. Inside, there is a cosy wood-burning stove with a small oven above, two bedrooms each with a king-size bed and a full-size single day bed and occasional beds available for additional guests if needed. Just outside the cabin door is a separate shower room with flushing toilet, sink and a large shower, with hot water supplied by an off-grid boiler.

The Shepherds Hut: This shepherd’s hut is well equipped and comes with its own wood-fired hot tub. Fantastic facilities inside include a comfy king size bed and child bunks above with memory foam mattresses and fresh duvets, plump pillows and beautiful linen. The kitchen area comes with a small sink with running water, a single gas hob, pretty china crockery, kitchen and cooking utensils. You can stay cosy in front of the wood-burning stove and the views through the stable door towards Wistlandpound Reservoir are incredible. The hut benefits from having its own fenced garden with outdoor seating and a fire pit.

Drovers Hut: Our hut, built on an ex-army ammunitions trailer, sleeps up to 6 people. Facilities include a king-size bed, single bunks and a trestle bed which pulls out under the main king-size bed. The country kitchen comes with a Belfast sink, solid oak worktop, dresser top, two-burner gas hob, a table and benches and a wood-burning range stove with oven and hobs above. The kitchen is well equipped and adjacent is a private bathroom with a decking area which has two gates to secure it for dogs or children. Outside there is seating, a fire pit and BBQ. Ideal for al fresco dining.
