Corffe Cottages offers outstanding self catering accommodation on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Tawstock. We are based in 5 acres of private land and have a range of wonderful properties to choose from. The market town of Barnstaple is within easy reach and we perfect for exploring the breathtaking North Devon Coastline.

We have a variety of beautifully furnished cottages available which were once the stables and outbuildings of the Grade II Listed Corffe House. The cottages are all nestled around a sunny courtyard and can sleep 2 to 10 people. Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, living area with HD TV with Freeview and a Blue-ray/DVD player, modern bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. You can also enjoy a truly special experience in Corffe House which sleeps between 18 to 22 people.

Corner Cottage – Sleeps 4 plus 1: This charming cottage is ideal for a couple or family and comes with a delightful private patio. The cosy open plan-plan lounge and dining area is great for relaxing in and there is a galley kitchen. Two bedrooms are available: a ground floor double/twin and an upstairs double room. Both rooms come with en suite facilities.

Number One Cottage – Sleeps 8: Our spacious reverse level cottage is great for larger groups and families. Three bedrooms are available: a family, double and twin room. Guests have use of bathrooms and there is a homely open-plan kitchen/diner and living room.

Number Two Cottage – Sleeps 4: This reverse level cottage is ideal for couples or families and sleeps up to 4 people in a double and bunk room. Both rooms share a lovely bathroom. The property comes with a delightful open kitchen/dining room.

Number Three Cottage – Sleeps 6: Our reverse level cottage is suitable for families and comes with a double room with an adjoining twin and a double room. Two bathrooms are available and there is an open-plan kitchen/dining area with a large living area.

Number Four Cottage – Sleeps 4: This superb cottage sleeps four in a double and twin room. Both rooms share a bathroom. The south-facing roof terrace is ideal for couples and families.

Number Five Cottage – Sleeps 4: Our beautiful cottage has a delightful south-facing roof terrace with seating to relax on. The reverse level property has two bedrooms: a double and a twin. Both rooms share a bathroom.

Number Seven Cottage – Sleeps 10: This magnificent property is ideal for families or groups and sleeps up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms: 2 doubles, 2 bunks and a twin. There are 3 bathrooms and a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living room.

Number Seven Cottage – Sleeps 3: Our cosy cottage is perfect for a couple or small family and includes a double and single room. Both rooms share a bathroom. On the first floor, there is an open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room.

Number 8 Cottage – Sleeps 4: This lovely reverse level cottage sleeps 4 people in a double and bunk room, making it suitable for couples or families. Both rooms share a bathroom and in the open plan kitchen area there is a large table to dine on.

Linked Cottages – Sleeps 7: Number Seven & Number Eight Corffe Cottages can be linked on the first floor by two sound-proofed doors making it ideal for families that want to share.

Corffe House – Sleeps 18 – 22: Our stunning Georgian rectory is perfect for a luxurious holiday. The property has been beautifully restored to offer wonderful accommodation and is great for family gatherings or a special group celebration. You can feel like your staring in your own episode of Downton Abbey with spacious rooms, a sweeping staircase and spectacular rural views. In total there are 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, including many period features. The property has a fabulous cinema room with a pool table, 20 seater antique dining table and a large kitchen.

While staying with us you can enjoy lots of fantastic facilities. Take a dip in the heated indoor swimming pool and in the same building there is a hot tub to relax in. Children can have lots of fun on the climbing frame, swings and hidden fort. We also have an all-weather BBQ cabin, tennis courts and laundry facility.
