Colehayes Park offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Bovey Tracey. Based near Newton Abbot in Devon, our large manor house sleeps up to 70 people, ideal for a big gathering of family or friends. Surrounded by stunning countryside on a 20-acre estate, this legendary party house is great for fun or tranquillity.

Our majestic property is located down a mile-long private drive in sheltered woodland, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The property is perfect for weddings, family gatherings, reunions, anniversaries, birthdays, schools, university groups and holidays.

The house has 21 bedrooms, all of which enjoy delightful views over the estate. Rooms are a mixture of dormitory, twin and double rooms. In total there are 16 toilets, 11 showers and 3 baths. The wedding suite offers a more lavish experience and boasts an 1830’s four-poster bed and en suite bathroom, equipped with a jacuzzi spa tub and separate shower.

We have a delightful oak panelled entrance hall with an open fire and a large living room with a marble fireplace, Italian tapestries, gorgeous chandeliers, beautiful furniture and French doors. A fully equipped commercial kitchen is brilliant for large groups, with cutlery, crockery and glassware for up to 150 people. The dining room seats up to 80 and for larger weddings a marquee in the gardens can accommodate up to 200 guests.

Our retro bar is great for a drink or two in a unique setting. The area comes with wooden flooring overlooking the stunning gardens. The basement houses the fabulous games room which has table tennis and a pool table. The thick walls make it virtually noise proof, ideal for an after-party late into the night. The "Rave cave" for great use after midnight.

We also offer more intimate accommodation in Cork Tree Cottage. The property can be rented with the manor house and sleeps up to 11 people across 5 bedrooms. The cottage also comes with a lovely living room with an open fire and French doors which open to the garden. The private garden area offers plenty of relaxation and tranquillity, with tall hedges ensuring it’s slightly screened from the manor house.

Guests can explore our beautifully manicured Victorian gardens, a true haven for nature lovers. Our magnificent rare cork tree at the bottom of the garden is among the only of its kind in the UK, the ideal backdrop for a magical wedding picture. You can also explore the woodland, ponds, marshland, streams and cascading waterfalls, home to an abundance of wildlife. Our breathtaking lake offers a scenic place to relax by with a good book on a sunny day. There is a lake for swimming and you can meet our Llamas, Lille and Larry.
