Brightlycott Barton is a wonderful 4-acre site in Shirwell which provides facilities for tourers, campers and motorhomes. The site is located within the ancient village of Shirwell. We are nestled between the towns of Barnstaple and Lynton and a great base for exploring North Devon.

Our beautiful south-facing caravan and camping site has 23 level pitches with electric hook ups (16amp) plus an area for tents. Facilities include:

Indoor games room and a swing frame for younger children.

The new ablution block includes 6 showers, laundry and wash up facilities and a room with facilities for the disabled (a ramp that leads down to the ablution block with a dedicated room for the wheelchair disabled with shower/WC/wash basin).

Washing machine and fridge/freezer free to use in the block and a coin-operated tumble dryer.

We are only 2 miles from Barnstaple which has the historic pannier market, a leisure centre and an indoor tennis centre – Tarka Tennis. At Barnstaple you can join the Tarka Cycle Way and we are just 5 miles from a 9 to 18 hole courses and 2 miles away is a fly fishing and trout farm. Great attractions to visit include:
