Red Linhay Holiday Cottage at Hollacombe Farm offers charming self catering accommodation near Blackmoor Gate. We are in an outstanding countryside setting on a 60 acre all grass Exmoor hill farm. Our cottage near Kentisbury in Devon is the perfect place to escape from the pressure of modern life.

Our wonderful cottage is ideal for an authentic rural experience, where streams and a river abound, and gorgeous woodland is grazed by wild deer. You also have beautiful country walks right on the doorstep. Our secluded cottage boasts stunning Exmoor views and includes a range of facilities to suit all your needs.

The cottage sleeps up to 4 people plus a cot and has been beautifully restored throughout. A lovely open plan living area comes with a toasty wood burner, TV, DVD player and comfy seating. French windows open to the outside area. The well-equipped kitchen is great for home cooking and the dining table seats up to 4 people. Both bedrooms enjoy glorious countryside views and include en suite facilities. Downstairs there is an additional WC.

Outside there is a large, grassed garden to the front and back, a children’s play area and a BBQ. The picnic table is a great spot for a glass of wine whilst admiring the breakthtaking views.

We offer you the opportunity to bring your own horse, perfect for some unforgettable rides on Exmoor. We offer stabling/grazing onsite. You can ride on the farm and lots of riding opportunities are available nearby too.

Our cottage is a great base for exploring the area. We are close to award-winning beaches and brilliant pubs are nearby as well. The area is great for walkers and cyclists and further afield you can visit lots of excellent attractions:
