Lynton House offers charming accommodation in a stunning position on the Teignmouth seafront. Our guest house in Devon is opposite the new children’s play park and only yards from the sands of the main beach, the gorgeous river beach and the main shopping centre.

Our magnificent property boasts an impressive history, offering a wonderful example of Victorian architecture which was erected in the 1860s by the Courtenay family, Earls of Devon.

We have an array of elegant bedrooms available, with most enjoying glorious sea or river views. In total, we have 12 en suite bedrooms available. We also have two separate bathrooms which house a bath. There is a stairlift to the first floor for guests with mobility problems. Excellent facilities include comfy beds, a TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

You can enjoy a delicious home-cooked breakfast in our large dining room, the perfect start to the day. Unwind in the delightful lounge bar whilst savouring the outstanding views.

The area has lots of fantastic attractions to see, perfect for the whole family. Visit Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones Victorian Museum and Shaldon Zoo, plus lots of great restaurants and bars. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
