Ashbourne Woods Camping in Rattery is set in a gorgeous woodland location, offering camping and glamping facilities. Based near South Brent in 68 acres of Devonshire woodlands, we specialise in wild and semi-wild camping.

Our scenic campsite offers a truly authentic wild camping, only short distance from the majestic Dartmoor National park. We truly are the perfect place to escape from pressures of modern life, great for nature lovers looking to experience the great outdoors. Wild camping is also great for kids, from build shelters to climbing trees, we truly are a unique camping destination.

We also have gravel pitches for campers vans and caravans with electric hook up and water facilities. A small shower block and toilet facilities, plus washing up areas and laundry facilities are also available. Firepits are available for all pitches, perfect for huddling around whilst gazing at the starry night sky.

For those that don’t fancy the traditional camping experience, we also have glamping accommodation available, including a beautiful bell tent, charming camping pod, quirky micro lodge, unique gypsy hut and delightful kiwi hut.

This part of the country has lots do to for the whole family. Visit the lovely animal park at Pennywell Farm or take a nostalgic ride on the South Devon Railway, a vintage steam railway. Totnes Rare Breeds Farm is a great safari park to explore and the area also have lots of picturesque walking and cycling routes.
