Oaktree Fishery & Cottages at Bottreaux Mill offers outstanding self catering accommodation. Based near South Molton in a scenic area of Devon, we are ideal for an idyllic getaway. Fishing is available all year, with tackle hire available from the reception.

We have 3 cottages to choose from. Each one is tastefully furnished and comes with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. All of the cottages are on one level, making them suitable for people with limited mobility. Inside each cottage, there is a cosy lounge area with a widescreen TV and DVD player. You can rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen that has a dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine/dryer. Each cottage comes with a modern bathroom. Outside each cottage, there is a private patio area with garden furniture.

Stags Cottage: This cottage sleeps four in 1 double/twin room and 2 single rooms.

Otter’s Holt: Our cottage sleeps four in 1 double/twin or 2 single rooms.

Kingfisher Cottage: This cottage sleeps 3, with a double/twin available.

You can take advantage of our grounds whilst staying with us. Stroll around Oaktree Lakes and see the amazing array of wildlife, from soaring buzzards to majestic red deer. We also have 3 heavily stocked lakes to enjoy, containing a range of Carp including Common Carp, Mirror Carp, Ghost Carp, Leather Carp, Koi Carp, Crucian Carp, plus a 57-lb+ Wells Catfish, Tench, Perch & Bream. We also have an onsite shop that sells a range of essentials.

We are just a 5-minute drive from Exmoor National Park, home to some of the country’s most spectacular landscape. We also offer easy access to Barnstaple, Tiverton and the coastal resorts of Ilfracombe and Coombe Martin. The whole family will love the unique countryside zoo at The Big Sheep, whilst Arlington Court is home to the National Trust’s largest collection of horse-drawn carriages.
