Peartree Cottage offers self-catering accommodation near the village of Northlew, close to Okehampton and ideally located for exploring Devon. Set within two acres of grounds, the cottage provides a peaceful setting for a relaxing break away from the pace of everyday life. Tastefully furnished throughout, the cottage is well equipped with a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.

The cottage adjoins the owner’s country house and is well-equipped to a high standard. Inside there is a double-aspect kitchen/dining area and a triple-aspect sitting room with a toasty wood burner stove for those chilly days. A separate laundry is in the Old Cob Barn.

Upstairs there are two large en suite bedrooms. The double room has a 5-foot bed and an en suite bathroom with an over-bath shower and WC, whilst a twin room has an en suite shower room and WC. Both rooms boast fantastic views of the gardens, meadow and nearby forestry and the hills of Dartmoor. All linen is provided.

Outside there is a private patio and steps that lead to a lawn. Garden furniture and a BBQ is provided for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

We are in an ideal location for discovering all that the area has to offer. Visit the beaches of Widemouth Bay, Bude & Instow. Head to the picturesque fishing harbours of Port Isaac, Boscastle & Clovelly, or enjoy a scenic coastal walk. Attractions to visit include:
