Vipers Quay offers wonderful self catering accommodation on the River Dart, close to Dittisham. Our unique setting is perfect for an idyllic coastal holiday. We are close to Dartmouth and a variety of attractions in Devon.

Our 1960s boat house sleeps up to 12 people and boasts amazing views across the River Dart. The house is great for families or groups and is all on one level, suitable for wheelchair users.

Inside we have a spacious living room that offers views over the River Dart and across to Greenway House and Dittisham. The room comes with armchairs, sofas, an open fire and a TV. At one end of the living room is a dining area with seats for up to 14 and a door that opens onto the balcony. The well-equipped kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher.

In total, there are 5 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double en suite and enjoys river views. Bedroom 2 has zip-link beds that can be made as twins or a super-king bed and have en suite facilities. Both bedrooms 3 and 4 have zip-links beds that can be made as twins or a super-king and share a main bathroom. Bedroom 5 has full-length bunk beds and its own bathroom.

Outside we have a huge sundeck with sun loungers and deck chairs, perfect for relaxing on whilst watching the boats sailing past. We have a jetty that can be used as a launching point for canoes, kayaks or paddleboards. There is a small garden and BBQ with two picnic tables for al fresco dining and 2 acres of woodland alongside the house.

Only a short ride from us is the local village of Dittisham, home to two local pubs, the Ferryboat Inn and the Red Lion. Enjoy some local seafood at the Anchorstone Cafe or visit Agatha Christie’s house Greenway. A sailing school and paddle boat and sailing boat hire are available at Marshall Sailing. Attractions to visit include:
