Treacle Valley Campsite offers camping and glamping facilities in the delightful village of Daccombe, based in a gorgeous west-facing valley. Our family-run campsite is easily accessible to Torquay and a range of attractions in Devon.

Our campsite is based in a countryside setting and offers far-reaching views over Dartmoor’s National Park. We are an open field site without pitch markings, allowing you the freedom to pitch where ever you like on the basis you leave a car size gap between yourselves and someone else’s tent. Please contact for smaller motorhomes.

We do not offer electric hook up but do have electricity in our toilet/shower block, ideal for plugging in devices etc. Onsite we have some pre-frozen freezer blocks in the campsite reception and there is also a small laundry room and washing up sinks.

Free Wi-Fi is available (Wi-Fi signal near shop) and the campsite play park comes with a new slide and tower.

You enjoy luxury camping in our Horse Box conversion, an up-cycled project that now offers cosy accommodation. Facilities include electric, a fridge, hob, bedding, towels and a fully kitted-out kitchen. Outside there is a private patio, ideal for a coffee in the morning.

We are surrounded by lots of rolling countryside, great for walkers and cyclists looking to explore. You can also visit the seaside resort of Torquay, home to beaches, shops, restaurants, cafes and much more. Discover Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves or stroll around Babbacombe Model Village, famous for its miniature landscaped gardens. Attractions to visit include:
