Berry Barton Caravan Park

Branscombe, Seaton, Devon

Details

Berry Barton is a family-run rural campsite located on a 350-acre working dairy farm in Branscombe and offers a fantastic countryside escape. With spacious pitches and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for families, the campsite is ideally situated in green fields. Enjoy stunning countryside views and direct access to the cliffs and the Jurassic coastal path.

Camping

We welcome all types of touring campers, including caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and tents at Berry Barton. While we don’t allocate pitches, we offer a number of electric hook-ups that must be pre-booked. The main camping field has numerous water taps and a grey waste disposal drain near the caravan site gate. Our recently refurbished shower, toilet block, and washroom facilities include a coin-operated washing machine and separate tumble dryer. Children sharing adult accommodation stay free, with a nominal charge for those on a separate pitch. Fire pits are allowed if they are raised, do not damage the turf, and are extinguished properly. Dogs are welcome free of charge but must be kept on leads near livestock, with owners responsible for disposing of dog mess in bins by the entrance.

Rental Caravans

Our popular range of vans offers great value for money with tasteful furnishings and an open plan layout creating a spacious, comfortable environment. All of our letting vans are equipped with mains water supply, mains electricity with coin-operated meters, well-equipped kitchens with full-size cookers, electric fridges, microwaves, shower rooms, toilets, central heating and double glazing. They sleep a maximum of 6 people, with most featuring 1 double and 1 twin bedroom and additional pull-out beds in the lounge area if needed. A three-bedroom van is available on request. Please note, bedding and linen are not included in rental caravans.

The Area

Branscombe, one of East Devon's prettiest villages, features charming thatched cottages set against a backdrop of National Trust land. The village road winds past the Norman Church and Forge, leading to the beach. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers numerous walks, including the popular Heritage Coastal Path along the headland. Within walking distance of the site, one of the village's two inns offers food and outdoor seating. Nearby towns include Sidmouth, with excellent shopping, a cinema, and a local theatre; the fishing village of Beer, about 3 miles east; and Lyme Regis, famous for its Cobb and Harbour, further along the coast.
