The Arundell Arms is a historic coaching inn, renowned for its award-winning 2 Rosette restaurant, cosy bar and comfortable rooms. Established in 1932, our fly fishing school boasts 22 miles of private fly fishing, making us the perfect destination for fishing, walking, outdoor activities and exploring West Devon and North Cornwall.

We offer 21 beautifully appointed bedrooms, including 8 dog-friendly rooms located in our Coach House. Our dog-friendly accommodations come with a nearby dog washing area and plenty of clean towels.

Each room includes an ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower, tea and coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer and Bluetooth Roberts Radios instead of televisions, ensuring a relaxing atmosphere. (We can provide a TV by request). We also provide high-quality Floris amenities, crafted in Britain with the finest essential oils from around the world.

Breakfast is a highlight, included in the room rate and offering an array of options, from our homemade jams, marmalade and granola to a traditional Full English. Our signature dish, Eggs Royale, is made with smoked trout caught in our lake and smoked in-house.

For those heading out to explore, we offer a Picnic and Hamper service. Simply pre-order one of our Deli Picnics the day before (by 4 pm) to enjoy on your adventures.

Our restaurant serves food throughout the day, focusing on fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. We are open for breakfast from 8 am and take dinner reservations in the evening. Everyone is welcome to experience our award-winning cuisine.

Known as one of the top fly fishing schools in Devon and the country, The Arundell’s 22 miles of waters are a fisherman’s paradise. Many guests return year after year to fish these pristine, wild waters. We welcome all ages and skill levels, believing that fly fishing offers the ultimate escape in today’s busy world. Day tickets for our river or lake are available for £45, with all necessary tackle and equipment available for hire.

We have a meeting room & conference rooms onsite and we can offer executive retreats for corporate guests.
