Cheristow Cottages offers outstanding self catering accommodation in North Devon’s Hartland Peninsula, a UNESCO designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are close to Bideford and less than 2.5 hour’s drive from the famous city of Bristol.

We have 7 beautiful properties to choose from. Five of the cottages have been sympathetically converted from old stone farm buildings around the former farmyard. The Dairy was once part of the farmhouse and the Orchard is a modern conversion from another building. All our cottages are nestled away down a tranquil lane, with gorgeous views to the sea, perfect for a coastal getaway.

The Granary sleeps 4/5, The Milking Parlour sleeps 4, The Orchard sleeps 6, The Linhay sleeps 4, The Stables sleeps 4, The Dairy sleeps 2 and The Tack Room Sleeps 2. All of the cottages, apart from The Tack Room, can also provide an additional cot. Each property is tastefully furnished and comes with comfy beds, modern bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens, a cosy sitting room/area and use of a large picnic/play area. Most of the cottages also include a delightful, enclosed garden to relax in. For that extra bit of luxury, you can use the Spa Room with its hot tub and sauna which is bookable by the hour for private use.

The Orchard, Granary & Milking Parlour Cottages have dishwashers and washing machines, & TVs with digital access for streaming.

We are in a wonderful position for exploring the local area. You can enjoy walking on the South West Coastal Path whilst admiring the stunning coastal scenery. The gorgeous Hartland Abbey House & Gardens is only minutes away and the gardens at Docton Mill and Clovelly Court are only a short drive. Sandymouth, Bude, Westward Ho! and Northam are perfect for swimming and surfing, whilst cyclists can enjoy riding the Tarka Trail. Further attractions to visit include:
