The Lake House @ Langford Court in Cullompton offers glamping accommodation in a spectacular setting. Situated on the water’s edge and surrounded by flower fields, we are perfect for an idyllic escape to Devon.

We are a paradise for outdoor lovers looking for somewhere unique to stay. You can sit back and relax with a glass of wine on the decking and savour the glorious lake views or explore over 300 acres of land brimming with lots of wildlife, including kingfishers, buzzards and sparrows.

Our custom-built house has been beautifully crafted to offer accommodation. We are tech-free (no Wi-Fi or TV), offering the perfect chance to reconnect with the natural environment. In total, this house sleeps 2 adults and 2 children in a king-size bed on the mezzanine floor (reached by a ladder) and a downstairs bunk/double room. Please note, we only supply sheets so please bring your own duvet and pillows (due to covid regulations). A travel cot/bed for small baby/child can be provided. The bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and soaking tub.

A fully-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances (gas hob/ceramic worktop etc) for rustling up some delicious food. Unwind on the comfy sofas in front of the toast wood burner with a coffee whilst admiring the views. We can supply wood and there is also a gas/combi boiler for the winter months. Outside there is an overwater porch, great for al fresco dining in the evening sun whilst enjoying the view.

We offer free farm safaris and wildlife tours around our acres of land. This is the perfect way to see the lovely wildlife. We also have eleven lakes across the farm, six of which are well stocked for fishing carp and trench, plus two dedicated to wildfowl, along with swans and Canadian geese.

Only 3 minutes away is The Plymtree shop which offers a great selection of local farm fresh beef, pork and chicken as well as staple supplies. There are also 3 pubs within walking distance. The whole family can enjoy The Bear Trail, an adventure park which is only 2 minutes away. Visit the Donkey Sanctuary which cares for over 6000 mules and donkeys or explore the scenery around Dartmoor and Exmoor. Attractions to visit include:
