We offer a unique selection of self catering holiday cottages - most dog friendly - and manor houses ideal for seaside holidays, dedicated walkers, those looking for quiet country breaks and family celebrations.

All of our properties are beautifully furnished and come with everything you need for a magical break in the country, including a range of excellent facilities. All the properties come with a well-equipped kitchen, cosy living area, attractive bedrooms, modern bathrooms and comfortable bathrooms.

Flete Mill Cottage - sleeps 5: Flete Mill Cottage is set in its own little terraced walled garden, looking over ancient water meadows which follow the River Erme and lies one mile along the old carriage drive which runs for four miles between Flete House and Mothecombe, allowing guests to walk to all the other Flete Estate holiday cottages without ever seeing a motor car. Otherwise, Mothecombe beach is a ten-minute drive away, whilst the little market town of Modbury is ten minutes drive in the other direction.

The Bosun's Cottage - sleeps 6/8: The Bosun's Cottage is set in the very heart of the Flete Estate surrounded by the rolling pastures of the Home Farm. Standing at the end of a long private drive, it is surrounded by its own private garden with tranquil views over the valley to the woods beyond. This lovely detached cottage provides spacious family accommodation with a large kitchen and light and spacious rooms. The Bosuns Cottage is an ideal holiday home for families with small children and dogs as the enclosed garden makes for a fun and secure play area and the house has a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space!

Coastguards Cottages - each sleeps 6: This unique row of cottages perched above Coastguards Beach, enjoy spectacular and ever-changing views out across the Erme Esturary to the sea beyond. The beach is literally just fifty feet from the front door and from here you can explore the whole estuary or wander over to Mothecombe Beach. Although the cottages are terraced, there are no other houses within view.

Nepean's Cottage - sleeps 8: Deceptively larger than it looks, Nepeans was originally a gamekeeper's cottage and is partly octagonal in shape. This fairy tale cottage is hidden in a small clearing deep in the woods, and overlooks the estuary with stunning views. Nepeans provide total seclusion.

Efford House - sleeps 12: The house made famous for being the Dashwoods humble abode in Sense and Sensibility, Efford is in fact a large, beautifully proportioned detached country house, set in its own grounds bordered by mature woodlands. With wide views across the higher reaches of the River Erme the garden reaches down to the edge of the estuary. Efford epitomizes the dream of an English summer retreat and is perfect for large family gatherings at any time of the year.

Pamflete House – sleeps up to 12 and the flat sleeps 6 (both can be combied to sleep 18): Pamflete House is a large Grade II listed manor house at the heart of the Flete Estate moments from the wonderfully secluded Pamflete Beach. It sleeps 12 guests in the house including the integrated East Wing flat and has a large formal dining room which seats 20; perfect for family celebrations and fabulous house parties. The house is set in its own private grounds and there is a newly resurfaced club sized tennis court. The house has broadband and Sky TV + Sports as well as table tennis, pool table and croquet set for the front lawn, so plenty to keep everyone entertained.

The Flete Estate in South Devon is the most spectacular setting for a holiday by the sea. It is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Heritage coast and Site of Special Scientific Interest and is alive with wonderful wild flowers, birds and animals.

Most of our cottages are within a 10 minute walk of the unspoilt Erme estuary, with its sandy beaches , gentle surf, and the South West Coastal footpath. You can enjoy walking, bird watching, fishing, star gazing, photography or messing about in boats, without even leaving the Estate.
