Apple Cottage is a refurbished modern cottage, one of several properties in Buckland Court, situated in the beautiful South Hams countryside near the historic village of Slapton in South Devon. With its peaceful setting and charming atmosphere, the cottage offers a cosy retreat ideal for families or couples exploring the area.

The entrance to the cottage is located beside the gate that leads to the spacious shared grounds. Inside, there is a cosy open-plan living room with a polished floor, a large comfortable sofa, chairs and a dining table. Entertainment is provided with a large screen Freeview, Smart TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a radio, Hi-Fi with CD player and free Wi-Fi. There are also books and games available for guests to enjoy. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, integrated electric oven and grill, microwave and refrigerator. Additional freezer space is available in the shared laundry room.

Upstairs, the cottage has three bright bedrooms furnished in pine: one double, one twin, and one single. The bathroom includes a bath with a shower overhead, a basin and a WC. Directors chairs are stored under the stairs and can be taken outside for use in the garden. For younger guests or picnics, plastic bowls, plates, beakers and cutlery are provided.

Through an archway in the lower courtyard, separated by a substantial gate, guests can access a large open area featuring a pond with ducks, a wide grassy space and an orchard spanning 1.5 acres. This outdoor area includes a built-in barbecue with picnic benches, ideal for relaxing meals or gatherings. Children can enjoy outdoor games or play in the adventure playhouse on stilts with a slide. For rainy days, a pool table and table tennis can be found in the laundry room.

Nearby attractions include a world-famous nature reserve, a stunning three-mile beach and excellent local pubs serving real ale. The towns of Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are within a 15-minute drive, both offering a variety of shops, restaurants, boat trips and sailing opportunities. Totnes, a quaint Elizabethan town, is just nine miles away and Dartmoor, with its breathtaking scenery and exceptional walking trails, is also within easy reach. Buckland Court provides an ideal base for enjoying a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, including golf.
