Pink Heather Cottages consists of two self catering cottages, Yukon and Bowen. These are one-bedroom, 4-star, holiday cottages in North Devon, situated in an elevated position on the side of the beautiful Sterridge Valley. Each cottage offers breathtaking views and is accessed from the car park by a series of steps winding through Pink Heather’s well-established and impressive gardens and ponds. Guests are welcome to explore our two acres of gardens and woodland or relax on the swing-bench by the babbling River Sterridge.

Our holiday cottages are well-equipped and decorated to a high standard throughout. Each includes easy access to North Devon’s beautiful sandy beaches, stunning coastline and valley walks, as well as walking distance to our local pubs and well-stocked community shop.

The cottages feature a spacious, open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area with delightful views of the valley. You’ll find high-speed Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, Freesat, DVD player, radio and CD player. A good selection of DVDs, books and games are available in each cottage, along with lawn games for use in the enclosed paddock area. The south-facing patio area is furnished with garden furniture and offers a stunning view across the Sterridge Valley, catching the sun for most of the day.

Each kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, cafetiere, a good supply of pots, pans and cutlery, as well as an iron and ironing board to ensure your stay is comfortable. The fully fitted bedroom includes a double bed with duvet, hairdryer, radio alarm and an electric blanket for colder months (dual controlled). The modern bathroom features a roomy shower cubicle. Additionally, there is a separate seating area by the stream, a picnic table and a charcoal BBQ available for use in the paddock.

We offer off-road parking and a bicycle/paddleboard storage area. Our cottages are dog-friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Our four-legged guests especially enjoy playing in our lovely enclosed paddock, which leads down to the river.

Please note that the cottage is accessed via several steps, which provide breathtaking valley views but make this accommodation unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Additionally, due to the presence of the river and ponds in the garden, we cannot accept bookings with young children.
