Speccott Barton is a family-run sheep farm in the heart of the Devonshire countryside. Available all year round, these six North Devon holiday cottages sleep from 2 to 12 people individually. With the extra facilities offered of an indoor heated swimming pool and tennis court combines to add to the pleasure and comfort of your holiday. We are also in an excellent location to provide Dartmoor National Park and Tarka Trail Accommodation.

Stable:

This single-storey cottage is great for a couple or young family. Inside there is an open plan living area with a lounge/kitchen, plus a twin room and bathroom. A double settee is also available in the lounge.

Parlour:

Our cosy cottage is ideal for two families. Inside there is a beamed lounge which leads to a large kitchen/diner. Upstairs there are 4 four bedrooms: 1 twin, 1 double, 1 double en suite and a bunk room. A family bathroom is also available.

Hayloft:

This bright and airy cottage comes with a large lounge including a toasty wood burner. A separate kitchen/diner will suit all your needs. Upstairs there is a twin room, double room and master en suite room.

Forge:

This charming cottage is great for a romantic getaway. The ground-level cottage has a toasty wood burner and a living/dining area which lead the bathroom and bedroom.

Coach House:

Our delightful cottage comes with a flag-stoned lounge with a wood burner and enjoys garden views. A beamed kitchen is well-equipped for home dining. Downstairs there is a double room and a toilet/shower room. Upstairs there is a double room, a large bedroom with four singles and a family bathroom.

Farmhouse:

Our charming farmhouse, originally listed in the Domesday Book, has been beautifully proportioned to accommodate 11 guests. It features five bedrooms, including three with ensuite bathrooms, one twin room, and one triple room, complemented by a family bathroom. This property retains numerous quaint farmhouse characteristics.

We are located just 3 miles south of Great Torrington. Approximately 20 minutes drive from the A361 North Devon Link road, we are easy to find and close to major roadways in Devon. Great attractions to visit include:

We can accommodate up to 40 people if all the properties are booked together, making us a great location for large group celebrations.
