Whitemead Caravan Park in Wool, near Wareham, is a beautiful family-run and dog-friendly site set within five acres of picturesque Dorset countryside. Offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the park provides 96 pitches, including grass and hardstanding options with electric hook-up, as well as non-electric grass pitches. The park accepts caravans (single and twin axle), motorhomes, campervans and approved campervan conversions, tents up to 4m x 6m on standard size pitches and large tents on extra-large pitches, roof tents and trailer tents.

Guests have access to a range of convenient facilities, including heated toilet and shower blocks, a launderette and a washing-up area. There is also an on-site games room with a pool table, darts and table football to keep the whole family entertained, along with a children’s play area for younger visitors. Wi-Fi is available for an additional charge, and the on-site shop stocks camping essentials and groceries to make your stay as easy as possible.

Across the road there is a great pub which serves delicious food and offers entertainment during the high season. Wool is a village with excellent amenities including a bakery, butchers, fish and chips, hairdressers etc.

Set on the edge of the Purbeck Heritage Coast, the park is ideally positioned for discovering Dorset’s breathtaking coastal scenery along the English Channel. From here, you’re just a short drive from the world-famous Jurassic Coast, including the stunning Lulworth Cove and the iconic limestone arch of Durdle Door. The dramatic ruins of Corfe Castle dominate the surrounding Purbeck landscape, while the seaside town of Swanage offers sandy beaches and a traditional coastal atmosphere. Visitors can also enjoy walks across the Isle of Purbeck or through Wareham Forest and explore popular attractions such as The Tank Museum at Bovington and Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre.
