Stock Gaylard offers a wonderful off-grid glamping getaway in Sturminster Newton. Based on our beautiful estate in Dorset, we are perfect for families, couples and hen parties. All the glamping units are far away from each other, offering plenty of privacy.

Withybed Yurts

Our yurts are based beside a farm track near the Deer Park and boast stunning views. There are 3 yurts to choose from, with each including a double bed, 2 singles and a pull-out futon (made up if requested).

The is a spacious safari tennis in the living area with seating. A covered kitchen comes with a gas oven and a solar powered fridge. There is a toilet and bath.

Brickles Yurts

Based on the edge of our 60 acre Brickles Wood, these yurts enjoy views over the Blackmore Vale. Facilities include a small covered kitchen with a gas oven and an area for washing up. Soak yourself in the outdoor bath. There is a shower and a flushing loo.

Parsons Bus Site

Once a coastal route bus, it now offers cosy glamping accommodation. There are four beds on the lower deck and the upper deck and an undercover seating area and kitchen. Appliances include a gas oven and fridge.

On this site, we also have the bunkhouse and bell tent. The bunkhouse has 1 double and 2 single bunks above. The four bed bell tents have 1 double and 2 singles. A small pergola in the garden is perfect for relaxing in. A Towed horsebox houses a heated shower and bath.

Sawpits Wagon

Our shepherds hut sleeps up to 2 people in a double bed. There is comfy seating, a dining area and a kitchen. Facilities include compost loo, gas shower and camp fire with barbecue. Outside there is a wooden picnic table and seating.

Our estate is a brilliant location for exploring the area. There is good train links at Sherborne and for groceries, you can head to Dike & Son, our local family run supermarket in Stalbridge. Attractions to visit include:

Fiddleford Manor.

Alners Gorse Butterfly Reserve.

Hambledon Hill.
