Tucked away in West Dorset’s Marshwood Vale, Old Bidlake Farm is a wonderful campsite offering eight spacious pitches with outstanding facilities. Set within an 8.5-acre smallholding in the AONB Marshwood Vale, we are just 15 minutes from the Jurassic Coast and its beaches.

We focus on preserving the landscape, so there are no hot tubs or electric hookups, just a scattering of solar fairy lights at night to maintain the starry skies. With the help of the Dorset Wildlife Trust, we've created a haven for wildlife.

Although not glamping, we ensure camper comfort by providing essentials. Upon arrival, make a cup of tea in the fully equipped kitchen, then set up your tent, relax and enjoy. Each pitch includes a rocket stove and picnic bench. There’s a communal field shelter and dining area, plus The Barn with two kitchen areas, two shower rooms, four flush toilets and a camper's snug with books, games, and sofas. With only eight pitches, there’s plenty of space for everyone.

In the Potting Shed, we offer a tranquil space for treatments such as massage and reiki. Additionally, it serves as a communal area for meditation classes and sound baths. You can also join spoon carving workshops with Simon.

Old Bidlake Farm is situated in the idyllic Marshwood Vale, an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) that is both rural and sublimely quiet. With minimal light pollution, you can enjoy stunning starry skies and gloriously clean air. Despite its serene setting, the vibrant town of Bridport is just a 10-minute drive away. Whether you’re a foodie, music or art lover, bargain hunter, or bookworm, there’s plenty to explore and do. Additionally, the Jurassic Coast and its glorious beaches are only another 5 minutes away.
