Craigmaddie Glamping offers six luxury pods set in the beautiful East Dunbartonshire countryside, perfect for families and friends who love exploring the outdoors. Located just 2 miles from Milngavie and 7 miles from Glasgow city centre on the A81, our site boasts excellent public transport links by bus and train from Milngavie.

Our self-catered pods are designed for maximum comfort, featuring underfloor heating, a full-size toilet & shower and a fully equipped kitchenette with a hob, combination oven/microwave and fridge with a freezer compartment. Each pod also includes a smart 32″ TV, USB charging points and free WiFi. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided for every guest.

We have six pods in total:

- Robin – Sleeps 6 (4 adults and 2 children): Double bed, sofa bed and bunk beds.

- Bee – Sleeps 6 (4 adults and 2 children): Double bed, sofa bed and bunk beds.

- Duck – Sleeps 4: Double bed and sofa bed.

- Butterfly – Sleeps 4: Double bed and sofa bed.

- Owl – Sleeps 4: Double bed and sofa bed.

- Deer – Sleeps 4: Double bed and sofa bed.

A designated car park with a bridge leads up to the pods. We offer two 11kw (3 phase) electric car chargers (charges apply).

We welcome small, well-behaved and house-trained dogs for an additional charge of £10 per pet per night, payable on arrival.

Craigmaddie Glamping is the perfect getaway spot for couples and families, offering scenic views and fields with farm animals around the site.

Situated on the doorstep of The West Highland Way, which begins in Milngavie (a 5-minute drive or accessible by local bus service) and stretches 96 miles to Fort William, our location is ideal for hiking enthusiasts. The banks of Loch Lomond are just a 35-minute drive away. There is so much to see and do in the area, including:
