Lennox is a cedarwood chalet located in the village of Southerness, right on the shore of the Solway Firth. It offers beautiful views across to the Lake District in England and eastward along the Solway Firth towards Annan, making it a scenic and peaceful setting for a getaway.

In designing the chalet, the focus was placed on creating a spacious living area, which means the bedrooms are relatively compact. The chalet is intended as a comfortable base for families wishing to explore the Galloway countryside. The living and dining area, approximately 18 by 18 feet, is furnished with a comfortable settee and chairs, along with a pine dining table and chairs. The kitchen, separated from the living area by a worktop, is small but well-equipped with units, a fridge, electric cooker, washer, microwave and all the necessary crockery and utensils for your stay.

For added convenience and entertainment, the chalet includes maps, tourist information books, jigsaws, a few games and a TV. There are three bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with bunk beds, and one with twin beds. The bathroom is also compact but contains all essentials, including an electric shower.

Southerness is a holiday village on the Scottish Solway Coast, around 17 miles southwest of Dumfries. It caters to families and features residential caravans and holiday chalets in a self-contained environment. While having a car is helpful, there is a bus service to and from Dumfries that continues to Rockcliffe. The area includes three local shops that cover most essentials, three pubs, a fish and chip restaurant, and live music in the pubs on most evenings during the season. The coastline offers miles of sandy and rocky beaches, perfect for children to paddle and play safely, and for leisurely walks in either direction. However, supervision is necessary, especially with incoming tides. Nearby rivers and lochs provide excellent fishing opportunities, and sea anglers often catch plaice and flounders directly from the beach.
