Kirkdale Estate offers two self catering holiday cottages on a private coastal estate. Kirkdale Port sits looking out to sea with spectacular sea views and Garden Cottage is idyllically positioned in the corner of its private enclosed two acre walled garden. Both cottages sleep up to 6 and are detached, traditional Galloway cottages. Kirkdale Estate is superbly positioned to access all the very best of the region with Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Wigtown all within 20 - 30 minutes of the cottages. Galloway Forest Park and the Fleet Valley Natural Scenic Area are both of the doorsteps of the cottages.

Kirkdale Port:

This secluded, coastal property can accommodate 6 people in a double and 2 twin bedrooms which have wonderful sea views. It has a similar layout to Kirkdale Bank with an open plan living/dining room and separate kitchen. It is very well equipped with the same facilities as above. Outside is an enclosed garden which runs to the shore with seating. Secure storage is available in the shed for mountain bikes.

Garden Cottage:

This idyllic hideaway has its own 2 acre private walled garden. It can accommodate 6 people in a king size and 2 twin bedrooms. There is a cosy living room and open plan kitchen/diner which offers lots of space. There is an additional utility room off the kitchen with washing machine, three drawer freezer and second sink.

This estate is in the perfect position for a variety of walks including Galloway Forest Park and Fleet National Nature Reserve. Other activities to enjoy include mountain biking, golfing, sailing and horse riding. As well as being the perfect base for exploring nearby towns there are many attractions close by such as Threave Gardens, Gem Rock Museum, Carsluith Castle and Crafty Distillery Newton Stewart.
