South Haven is a beautiful, period property in Portpatrick, Dumfries & Galloway. This well-appointed holiday home has been renovated to a very high standard and is just a short drive from Stranraer. We are the perfect base for those who want a relaxing break away.

Our cottage offers luxurious facilities whilst still maintaining original features. The cottage sleeps 6 people and is well-equipped throughout.

A lovely open plan lounge and kitchen will suit all your needs, whilst a bay window enjoys glorious views of the beach and lighthouse.

Bedrooms consist of a king room and a family room with a double and single beds, plus a small single room which boasts stunning sea views. On the ground floor there is a small shower room and washing machine.

Outside there is a small, enclosed courtyard and to the front of the house, there is a paved area with seating and a marble table, great for a drink or two in the afternoon sun.

There is plenty to do in the village, with fishing trips, a sandy beach, a bowling green, a tennis court, a putting green and golf courses available. There are also lovely coastal walks – Portpatrick is the starting point for the Southern Upland Way. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants. Great attractions to visit include:
