The Stables Guest House provides fantastic accommodation in Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway. Set in its own grounds in a peaceful location, we are a brilliant base for exploring the south west of Scotland.

We have 5 beautifully furnished bedrooms available, including 3 ground floor rooms for limited mobility. You can choose from double and twin rooms. All the rooms come with a TV, toiletries, a complementary soft drinks tray and en suite facilities. Some rooms enjoy delightful views of the garden.

A lovely guest lounge is the perfect place for reading a good book or relaxing with a cup of coffee.

You can enjoy a superb home-cooked meal in the elegant dining room which adjoins the bright conservatory. We use as much local produce as possible.

We are a great place to stay for cyclists and have bike storage, a workshop and offer good cycle routes suggestions.
