The Stables Guest House offers high-quality accommodation in Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway, set within its own grounds in a quiet and peaceful location. Ideal for exploring the south west of Scotland, the guest house provides a comfortable and convenient base for enjoying scenic countryside, coastal areas and local attractions.

We have five beautifully furnished bedrooms available, including three ground floor rooms for limited mobility. You can choose from double and twin rooms. All the rooms come with a TV, toiletries, a complementary soft drinks tray and en suite facilities. Some rooms enjoy views of the garden.

The guest lounge is the perfect place for reading a good book or relaxing with a cup of coffee.

You can enjoy a superb home-cooked meal in the elegant dining room which adjoins the bright conservatory. We use as much local produce as possible.

We are a great place to stay for cyclists and have bike storage, a workshop and offer good cycle routes suggestions.
