Our Little Huts are located approximately 5 miles from Gatehouse of Fleet, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with uninterrupted sea views in front and rolling green hills behind. These three Shepherds Huts are individually hand-crafted and bespoke-built using Siberian Larch. They feature traditional elements such as a curved roof, internal and external wood cladding and spindle wheels, all designed with comfort, style and spaciousness in mind.

Each hut offers cosy seating by the wood-burning stove, WiFi and a wall-mounted Smart TV above the breakfast bar. Double doors open onto an enclosed veranda, perfect for watching the sunset over Wigtown Bay and stargazing later. Each hut also includes a fabulous outdoor copper bath and a veranda with seating.

The kitchens are locally hand-built and finished with solid wood countertops. Despite their traditional style, they are equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker and gas hob. A breakfast bar with stools is tucked in at the end, ideal for self-catering guests.

The bedroom features a king-size bed with a stylish headboard and wall lamps, offering beautiful hill views from the window. There is ample storage under the bed and bed linen is provided.

The spacious bathroom includes a toilet, sink and walk-in shower, along with a heated towel rail and complimentary fluffy towels.

Each hut also boasts its own outdoor copper bath, perfect for soaking after a day of exploring. Parking for one car is available at the back of each hut.

We welcome two well-behaved dogs by arrangement, please enquire (additional charge applies).

Situated on the edge of the UK's first Dark Sky Park and close to the new Southwest 300 route, our huts provide the perfect base for a short break exploring the beautiful Galloway. There is so much to see and do in the area, including:
