Lochside Apartments offer two identical, purpose-built 5-star luxury apartments, available individually or together to accommodate groups of up to 8 people. These newly constructed self-catering holiday apartments boast breathtaking views of Carlingwark Loch and Screel Hill in the distance. Situated on the edge of Lochside Park, just a short walk from the main street of Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway's renowned Food Town, they provide the perfect blend of comfort and convenience.

The properties are identical and on the ground floor they both feature two well-equipped bedrooms, each furnished with wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, built-in DVD players, vanity areas, iPod docking alarm clocks and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Both bedrooms in the apartments can be arranged as either twin or double rooms, complete with high-quality, 100% cotton bedding. One of the bedrooms opens out through French doors onto a spacious patio area, which includes clothes drying facilities and a hot tub for added relaxation. There is also a secure bike store available for added convenience. Also on the ground floor, you'll find the main bathroom, which includes an over-bath shower, a demister mirror, heated towel rail and modern fixtures. Additionally, the washer/dryer and ironing facilities are conveniently located under the stairs.

The first floor in each apartment offers an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, with floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors leading out to a large balcony. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, induction hob, microwave, fan oven and plenty of crockery and glassware. The living area is furnished with two leather couches overlooking Lochside Park, solid oak furniture and a 42” flat-screen TV with satellite channels. An iPod docking stereo and a dining table with leather chairs provide ample space for four people. The large balcony, accessible through the bi-fold doors, doubles your living space and features a table and chairs, making it the perfect spot for alfresco dining with stunning views. Also on the first floor is a fully tiled shower room with a large shower enclosure, WC, modern fixtures and a heated towel rail.
