Brighouse Bay Holiday Cottages offers outstanding self-catering accommodation just 2 miles from Borgue, near Kirkcudbright in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway. Perfectly positioned to enjoy the natural beauty of the region, our three cottages boast breathtaking views over Brighouse Bay, making them an ideal choice for a relaxing coastal getaway in southwest Scotland.

We have 3 cottages available, Cormorant (4-star), Oyster-Catcher and Sand Piper. Each cottage comes with the same facilities and is equipped to a high standard.

Our cottages all come with a cosy living room including seating, an electric log effect stove, a TV with Sky, a DVD player and a CD music system. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave and a dining table with seating for 6. On the ground floor, there is also a bathroom.

Upstairs there is a master en suite room, a double room and a twin bedded room. A travel cot can be provided.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with garden furniture and BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining whilst admiring the sea views.

We are perfect walkers, with 1200 aces of walking country to enjoy. Locally there are lots of cycle routes and a few minutes’ drive from us there is golf, horse-riding, an indoor swimming pool and a restaurant. Attractions to visit include:
