Forest Nook Lodge is in an elevated position offering amazing views from all sides just outside the village of Kippford. The lodge provides luxury self catering accommodation with lots of facilities and is only a few minutes from the Dumfries & Galloway town of Dalbeattie, which is within a wooded valley.

The lodge accommodation is designed like a traditional log cabin and it includes a spacious living room with a 37" LCD TV. The modern kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and fridge/freezer and there is also a dining table that can seat 6.

There are 3 bedrooms available which include 19" LCD TVs. The master bedroom also has an en suite Jacuzzi bath. Outside there is a lovely garden with a hot tub and BBQ.

This area of Scotland is beautiful and offers a wide range of activities including walking, cycling, golfing and fishing. The contrasting landscapes of unspoilt beauty with over 200 miles of coastline, rolling hills, moorland, forest, mountain and river make enjoying the outdoors a pleasure whatever the weather. There is an abundance of wildlife in the region including red deer, wild goats, red squirrels and birds of prey.

The self catering lodge is also close to many interesting attractions such as Mersehead Nature Reserve, Galloway Deer Range, Sweetheart Abbey, MacLellan's Castle and Robert Burns House.
