Mayland Farm Cottage offers lovely self catering accommodation in Woodland, just 10 miles from Bishop Auckland. Located in the wonderful county of Durham, our stone-built bungalow boasts stunning views of Hamsterley Forest.

We have a haven for nature lovers looking to escape the pressures of modern life, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. The attractive cottage is tastefully furnished and sleeps up to 5 people.

Our cosy cottage has a large lounge with a TV, DVD player and comfy seating, offering a great place to relax after a day roaming the countryside. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances. Savour some delicious meals in the traditional style dining room.

Three bedrooms are available, 2 doubles and 1 single room. The rooms share a bathroom with a separate shower, bath, basin, WC and shaver point. A utility room from the entrance porch has a washing machine and drying facilities.

Outside there is a garden to unwind in whilst savouring the stunning setting.

You can visit a range of brilliant attractions and places whilst staying with us. Only 7 miles away is Barnard Castle and Durham is just 16 miles. In Durham, you can visit its famous cathedral and castle, or browse the interesting shops in the town centre.
