Bluebell Barn is a period property converted from a working barn, overlooking open moorland. The property occupies a relatively remote moorland position on the Durham/Yorkshire/Cumbria borders in Teesdale, 4 miles north west of Barnard Castle. The Barn enjoys glorious open views over adjoining moorland.

On the ground floor, there is a kitchen/dining/living room with a wood burning stove. Also a cloakroom and a twin en suite shower room. On the first floor there is a pretty sitting room overlooking fields. The main bedroom with king size bed and small en suite bathroom. A twin bedroom suitable for children and a family bathroom with a separate shower.

Electric hob and oven, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer.

Freeview TV, DVD.

Natural spring water supply.

Upper Teesdale is a haven for walkers and bird watchers and the Pennine Way long distance footpath runs close by. Guests will find Barnard Castle (6 miles) a very attractive, historic town which includes the famous Bowes Museum. The Yorkshire Dales National Park can be reached within 20 minutes. Located one hour from the Lake District, Beamish open air country life museum, The Sage, Baltic and many other attractions. Including the miniature village in Leyburn and the Georgian Theatre in Richmond. The nearest pub is 2 miles away in Cotherstone and serves good food.
