Rother Valley Camping Touring Park in East Sussex is a well-established site catering to campers, tourers, caravans and motorhomes. Set in the charming village of Northiam on the Kent and East Sussex border, our park offers a perfect getaway. Conveniently located just 19 miles from the Euro Tunnel Terminal at Ashford, our campsite is close to many popular tourist attractions and seaside towns such as Hastings, Rye, Bexhill and Dover.

We offer spacious pitches around the perimeter of our large main camping field and secluded alcove pitches in our wooded area. The central meadow remains open for children and families to relax and play. Additionally, we have a woodland area with little dens for children to explore and a dog-friendly woodland walk.

Our main field features a small children’s play area with swings, a slide, a tower and a sand table. Picnic tables are strategically placed to allow you to enjoy the beautiful views over the Rother Valley while watching quaint steam trains chug past.

For a unique experience, try our two luxury Glamping Pods. These pods accommodate two in a double pod and four in a double bed pod. Each pod features comfortable double beds, a microwave oven, kettle and utensils/crockery. Please bring your own bedding.

Our new Bell Tents, fully equipped and ready for immediate use, accommodate up to four people, making them ideal for families and small groups. Each Bell Tent includes a gas hob stove, kettle, utensils and crockery, camp lights, water carrier and cool box with a swap service of cool blocks. Outside, you'll find your own picnic table/bench and coal-fired BBQ.

Explore the local area with its pretty villages, historic houses, beautiful gardens, award-winning sandy and shingle beaches, as well as shopping, pubs, and restaurants. Enjoy a stroll around Rye Harbour, a boat trip along River Rother, or a nostalgic journey on the Kent & Sussex Steam Railway. The small Kentish town of Tenterden, with its wide tree-lined high street and excellent selection of independent shops, pubs, and restaurants, is a 10-minute drive away. The award-winning sand dune-backed beach at Camber Sands is just 15 minutes away, and the seaside towns of Hastings, Eastbourne and Bexhill-on-Sea are easily accessible.
