The Original Hut Company offers camping and glamping facilities located in the village of Camber near the small town of Rye in East Sussex.

The huts are beautiful and were all handmade onsite using reclaimed and recycled materials wherever possible. All of the huts are double glazed and offer a gas hob and electric lighting.

The huts provide a lovely place to relax and offer you the chance to get close to the wildlife and enjoy a tranquil camping break with a little bit of luxury.

The huts are fully equipped with cooking equipment, tumblers, wine glasses, mugs, plastic cups, tea & coffee pots, milk jug, cutlery, crockery, sauce pan, milk pan and a frying pan. There are also some tea bags, coffee, sugar, toilet roll, tea towels and washing up liquid.

Linen is provided and this includes two pillows per person and a duvet and fitted sheet per bed.

If you would rather camp there are about 15 pitches located not far from the huts in Hop Pickers' Wood where there are two toilets, two showers and washing up facilities.

There are also more pitches in Poplars and The Udiam, Poplars has 15 pitches and The Udiam has 10 pitches there are also two toilets, two showers and washing up facilities here.

Campsite fires are allowed however these must all be within the fire pits provided onsite. Firewood and charcoal are available to buy.

Groups bookings, corporates and hen parties can all be catered for. You can hire four huts giving you accommodation for up to 18 - 20 people with exclusive access to the kitchen with dining table.

There is no pitch parking but there is an area where you can leave your car.

Fishing and a steam railway are located onsite. The River Rother also runs through the campsite and there is also electric bike hire so you can explore the area.

It is just a 1 mile walk to pub and a Michelin rated restaurant.
