The Stables offers wonderful self catering accommodation in the village of Boreham Street. We are perfect for an idyllic break in East Sussex.

Our cottage was the original stables and coach house of Boreham House and has now been beautifully renovated whilst retaining its original character.

Inside we have an open plan living/dining room with a kitchen to suit all your needs. The main bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom has a bath and separate walk-in shower.

Upstairs there is a twin room that can be made as a super king double. All the bedrooms come with handmade pocket-sprung mattresses and luxurious Egyptian linen and towels. The bedrooms and living room include flat-screen HD TVs.

Patio doors from the living area open to a patio area with a table and chairs, two sun recliners and a BBQ. There are also extensive gardens to enjoy.

We are based in a lovely countryside location, with lots of walking routes in the area. Locally there are historic houses, gardens, castles, fishing and golf. You can visit the famous opera house at Glyndebourne. Attractions to visit include:

Bodiam Castle.

Battle Abbey.

Brighton Palace Pier.

Pevensey Castle.

Seven Sisters Country Park.
