Chalky Downs Campsite is situated at Bevendean Farm atop the South Downs, in an area of outstanding natural beauty with stunning views of rolling hills and just 2 miles from the sea and the heart of Brighton and Hove. This relaxed campsite offers a peaceful countryside escape while being conveniently close to the city.

We have 36 grass pitches and 11 bell tent bases, welcoming tents and VW campervans (or similar size). Please note that there are no electrical hookups available. Campfires and fire pits are permitted as long as they are raised off the grass.

Our facilities include:

- 3 showers.

- 5 toilets.

- 1 communal washing-up area.

- Breakfast delivery service.

- Access to a fridge/freezer and charging outlets for phones and tablets.

The campsite has a good 4G signal in the field.

As we are located on a working farm, there are plenty of animals to see, including our friendly goats that you can pet.

Please be aware that caravans, hen parties, and stag parties are not allowed. Groups of 12 or more must receive prior approval.

We are open from early May to the end of September, seven days a week.
