Pekes House and Cottages offers a range of superb self catering accommodation close to the village of Chiddingly near Hailsham. We are in an idyllic countryside setting, whilst also being a great base for exploring East Sussex.

We have an array of fabulous properties to choose from, with each boasting a unique character. All the properties are beautifully furnished and come with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.

Pekes Manor House - This 15th Century Grade II Listed property is set out over three floors with 9 bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large kitchen, three reception rooms and a beautiful garden with a very large lawn.

The Wing - This is an elegant extension of the main house with a large bedroom with a King size bed, a double bed and two single beds. There is also a living/TV area with a wood-burning stove as well as a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, bathroom and WC.

Tudor View - This charming bungalow near the Manor house has one large double bedroom, one twin room, a double sofa bed, 1 Z bed, a sitting room with lovely views, a kitchen/dining room, a bathroom and a separate WC.

The Oast House - This is a fairy tale house with four bedrooms: a double with a four-poster bed, 1 double (Zip & Lock) + 2 singles, 1 single and 1 double sofa bed, plus 1 Z bed. There is a large kitchen, a circular dining room, a circular lounge and a bathroom and shower room.

Mounts View - This large bungalow has its own private sauna, five bedrooms, two double bedrooms, 1 Z bed, 2 twins and 1 triple room. There is a large bathroom, a sitting room with a wood-burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen.

Gate Cottage - This is charming cottage is situated in the grounds of our private estate offering a large living room with a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. This self catering cottage also has a large private garden.

Pekes facilities include an indoor heated Swimming pool open 24/7, a tennis court, lovely gardens and a park. It is very rural and tranquil. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided, as well as cleaning materials, etc. The local area offers a range of things to do and see, including visiting many historical towns, little villages or seaside resorts. The area is great for walking, cycling, horse riding and golf.
