Hill Farm Holiday Cottages are tucked away in a peaceful, private garden on our working farm, with panoramic views of the rolling Essex countryside. Your hosts live in the adjoining farmhouse and are always on hand to help. Situated in the charming village of Ashdon, the cottages are ideally placed for exploring Cambridge and Saffron Walden and are just a short drive from Stansted Airport.

Our three cottages provide a comfortable and relaxing retreat where you can truly unwind, whilst also offering a convenient base for discovering local gems, from charming villages and market towns to the world-famous university city of Cambridge just up the road.

Meadow Cottage

Sleeping four in one double and one twin bedroom, it combines comfort with convenience, while its fully enclosed front and rear gardens provide a safe, peaceful haven, especially popular with families returning year after year.

Orchard Cottage

Orchard Cottage is a snug, single-storey hideaway designed with comfort and accessibility in mind. Perfect for two guests, it features a twin bedroom and comes fully equipped for both short breaks and longer stays.
