Trem Yr Aber offers superb bed and breakfast accommodation located near Holywell in Flintshire. The B&B is located on a farm at the foot of the Halkyn Mountain on the outskirts of the village of Halkyn.
We offer two guest bedrooms both of which are tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. There is one double room with en suite and a family room with a family bathroom.

Both of the bedrooms at the B&B also have sitting area where you can enjoy a drink or curl up with a book. There is room in both bedrooms for another bed and a cot.
Guests are welcome to roam around the farm and see the sheep, cattle and hens that provide fresh eggs for breakfast. While you’re out strolling in our fields you can enjoy magnificent views over the Dee and Mersey estuaries with further views as far as the Lake District, Yorkshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire.
Halkyn Mountain has a range of footpath, bridle paths and quiet roads that guests are welcome to explore making the area ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding.
Ruthin is within easy reach of the guest accommodation and is one of the loveliest towns in North Wales with its centre of narrow streets and small independent shops.
Telford’s Aquaduct at Pontcysyllte is a World Heritage Site that is well worth visiting during your stay. You can walk across this famous bridge or take a canal boat.
