The Store at Mewslade Cottage offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Middleton. We are in a fantastic position, only a gentle 5-minute stroll down a lane to Mewslade Beach and a 10-minute walk to Rhossili. Rhossili has a regular bus service to Swansea and you can visit a variety of brilliant attractions in West Glamorgan.

Our charming self-contained unit is perfect for a romantic getaway in a lovely location. The property comes with a separate entrance and is tastefully furnished throughout.

A well-equipped kitchen is one single run along the wall of the living space and includes a marble top and integral fridge, oven, induction hob and waste management. You can relax and unwind in the cosy living room which has a large sofa bed, TV with Netflix and other demand channels. Additionally, a large walk-in shower has a WC and basin.

Upstairs there is a sleeping pod with a shower, as well as a brick-paved area in front of bifold doors with slate table and chairs. The bed upstairs offers a fabulous space to sleep, relax and admire the gorgeous views over the fields; whilst the bi-fold doors open onto a delightful courtyard with outside seating, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. Guests are also welcome to use the chiminea, great for summer evenings.

In the village, there is a grocery store, a garage and surfboard store/workshop. The area is great for a range of activities including surfing, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, spearfishing, cycling and walking. We are also close to the small beaches of Fall and Mewslade. Rhossili is home to a stunning 3-mile beach and has a National Trust car park and shop, 2 cafes and a pub.

We are around 200m from the cliff path, ideal for savouring the magnificent views from. Visit Rhossili Hill, Gower’s highest point, boasting majestic 360 degrees views toward Pembroke, the Black Mountains, Swansea and down to Lund and Hartland point.
